The DHT20 is equipped with a newly designed ASIC dedicated chip, an improved MEMS semiconductor capacitive humidity sensing element, and a standard on-chip temperature sensing element. Its performance has greatly improved and even exceeded the reliability level of the previous generation of sensors. The new generation of temperature and humidity sensors has been improved to make its performance more stable in harsh environments. Every sensor undergoes rigorous calibration and testing. Due to improvements and miniaturization of the sensor, its cost-effectiveness is higher.
